I injured my knee in a fall down the stairs several years ago and started online strength and conditioning sessions during Covid to help with my recovery.
The sessions focused on gradually rebuilding strength, improving stability and mobility, and adapting exercises as my knee improved, helping me make a full recovery and return to everyday activities and exercise without pain.
I’ve continued training online because it’s so convenient, and it’s helped me stay strong, active and confident in what I can do.

I developed severe frozen shoulder in 2025 and attended two physiotherapists over a period of time. The second physiotherapist told me I would need injections to help me heal, as I had no range of motion. I found it really difficult and severely painful to do everyday things like getting dressed, washing my hair, pulling a curtain, driving and putting on a seatbelt. This was all happening in my right shoulder, and as I’m right-handed, it made things particularly difficult.
I found Fiona online, which was a godsend, because I could do the exercises online at a time that suited both of us. It took me a couple of weeks, and in the meantime, I had an appointment with a specialist at the Blackrock Clinic in Dublin, which I had been waiting for. I found Fiona online and started exercising with her, and within a couple of weeks, I had my range of motion back, which was a godsend.
When I attended the specialist, he told me that I didn’t require injections at that time and that I should continue with whatever I was doing with Fiona. There was no need for injections at that stage because my movement was coming back.
Without Fiona’s help, I feel I would just have been waiting for injections, one after another, because nobody else seemed to be able to help me with my frozen shoulder.
